Trying To Enjoy The Suburban Life |
Saturday, July 14, 2012 |
So now that we have a backyard. My diva mama has decided to make herself a garden. Why I call her diva mama? *grin* that's a story for another day. But so far so good. We have been getting fresh ugu leaves which I can assure you taste delightful. Then there is one she calls "ugbogoro" not sure what it's called in English but I know how to eat it sha :) We also have corn. It has been nice though.Just thinking about the petroleum tanker blaster and about 95 people losing their lives. What a pity. While I can understand why people will try to scoop up free petrol, methinks our mentality is our biggest hindrance to growth and development. That "I can outsmart you" attitude is what leads to this type of behavior. Imagine the people that may have got 3 to 4 buckets of free fuel and how they would have been pumping their chests - like I am sooooo smart. But unfortunately, for some it did not work out. May God be our helper
A few photos of Mama's garden.

About Me |

Name: lala
Home: Memphis, Tennessee, United States
About Me: I'm an introvert. I love challenges and the "path less taken". I have discovered that life more of a journey than a destination so I try to enjoy each day. And if you've never failed at anything then you haven't tried anything outside your comfort zone. Right now, I have a love/hate relationship with Memphis. I love the city because the people are very friendly but careerwise, this place will be a dead end for me.
