Friday Five: Growing Up! |
Friday, February 09, 2007 |
1. What did you want to be when you grew up? A pharmacist and a writer 2. Did you follow through? If not, what happened? Partially. I am a pharmacist but I still haven't done much in terms of writing, just a few short stories here and there I have been asked to continue but ... right now, I have other things I have to deal with. (sorry guys) 3. Is your life turning out the way you thought it would when you were a kid? If not, is it better or worse? I think my life is better now than as a kid. I got the chance of a lifetime and I haven't looked back since then. So yes, my life is turning out the way I wanted. 4. Paradoxes aside, if you could time-travel back to when you were 10 years old, what would you tell your 10-year-old self? Try not to be so quick with your tongue. Enjoy your readings, they will help your maturity and self-worth some day. 5. Do you think the child you were, would like the adult you've become? Yes! Fo' sure! I absolutely rock. Contentment and patience are my middle names. I have grown to cherish and respect people. Have maintained deep friendships while holding on to my authenticity. |

Apart from a few minor tense problems, I must say you write very well. Great imagination too...

I know, but that was like years ago Azuka. I will pick up again and I'll do better with the tenses ... I promise :)

About Me |
Name: lala
Home: Memphis, Tennessee, United States
About Me: I'm an introvert. I love challenges and the "path less taken". I have discovered that life more of a journey than a destination so I try to enjoy each day. And if you've never failed at anything then you haven't tried anything outside your comfort zone. Right now, I have a love/hate relationship with Memphis. I love the city because the people are very friendly but careerwise, this place will be a dead end for me.
