Lala And The Renaissance Man |
Wednesday, May 02, 2007 |
I haven't been blogging much lately because I feel like I blog too much about work but I just can't think of anything else to talk about! How sad.
But anyway, I have to say I had an awesome time in Omaha. The hotel was great. Now I have been to a few hotels but I have never been to a hotel with that much amenities oh. It was pleasantly surprising. There was free internet, free breakfast and hold on, a manager's reception by 5:30pm -7:30pm every evening with free alcoholic beverages. Awesome!!!!! You could even print free of charge from their computers. Man, thats some paradise oh.
Everything was done in the hotel so we did not go out much except to eat. Omaha is supposedly noted for their steaks so we had ... steaks (bye, bye diet) Our second night (Sunday night) we went out to eat, I got a steak, a salad and a glass of beer and my bill came to $39.11. Wow!!!! And we were only allowed $25 for dinner. I was pissed oh. So I have to swallow the remaining eh? Chineke!
Anyway, back to my topic oh, I "met" the Renaissance man oh. Its looking good, looking good (but don't it always good at first?) Until you find out he's a hardcore loser with no brains and an inflated ego. Then you quickly kick his ass to the curb. No time wasting oh!
Just the way I like them, unassuming, funny and supersmart. I love me some nerds abeg. Give me that bobo who can explain Einstein's law of relativity to me anytime. So Mr. Supersmart, put your game face on cos its about to be on like a pot of neckbones!
Is he the one? Who knows? Who cares? I love being in love and I know my "heart" is waiting for me somewhere so I'm willing to be patient cos true love will come, I know.
Stay tuned |

About Me |

Name: lala
Home: Memphis, Tennessee, United States
About Me: I'm an introvert. I love challenges and the "path less taken". I have discovered that life more of a journey than a destination so I try to enjoy each day. And if you've never failed at anything then you haven't tried anything outside your comfort zone. Right now, I have a love/hate relationship with Memphis. I love the city because the people are very friendly but careerwise, this place will be a dead end for me.
