Like Hot Water For ..... |

Chocolate!!!!!!! Do you ever get those periods that you just want to drown yourself in food (I'm a stress eater) or something just so you can forget the day? Well today was one of such days. My f**ked up assistant did not come to work leaving me running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to do everything. Answer the phone, fill all the prescriptions, counsel patients etc. It was no fun day My half assed manager did not bother to inform me that I was going to get to help. For some strange reason, that man accepted a position as a manager when he knew he has no business being a manager. He will not answer his phone or return calls or take of things that he's supposed to. This assistant calls in all the time and he has never cautioned her about her attendance and the assistant always manages to fall sick on Mondays or Thursday. How convenient!!!! Whoa, that was a load off! Anyway, how has your day been? |

Smile Chronicles: Tongue Thrasher Alert! |
Tuesday, June 17, 2008 |
Are you a tongue thrasher? Well apparently I am, so my dentist needs me to see an orthodontist to see if I need surgery to properly align my teeth so orthodontist, heeeeeeeeeeeere I come!
But anyway, the dental hygienist that cleaned ny teeth scrapped that thing so hard, I almost fell off the chair. Uh, I could taste the blood flowing freely from my gums, the sound of the metal scrapper squeaking against my teeth and the only thing that was going through my mind was, "how could anything possibly be worse that this?"
Life no easy oh. So she colored my teeth so I could see the plaque on my teeth, boy that damn thing lit up like a fire house!!!! Man, was I ashamed of myself or what. So I'm going to get an electric toothbrush since Lala cannot seem to handle brushing her teeth properly.
So we will see how the visit to the orthodontist will go.

Overstepping Your Bounds |
Thursday, June 12, 2008 |
Last week at church I was kinda disappointed in the preacher, he kept making references to "20 dollar tithes" even when he was supposed to be praying. He must have made that staement like twice and I felt like, "ok, granted some people do not give as much as they are supposed to but some are doing the best they can. And maybe their best is $20." I mean, how dare a man who is not working sneer at twenty dollars when does not even bring in a penny. I was pretty pissed. He really overstepped his boundaries. Another thing that just baffled me was the talk about the church anniversary which they wanted to spend $10, 000 on. This included flying people in and accomodating them in hotels. I looked at alll the people in that little church. How many people there are in a position to be flown anywhere by their job or anything? I think we can do things on our level. The church needs to be focusing on bringing people who can help us develop better work skills and resources not to spend $10, 000 on anniversary celebrations. I mean we are talking about a little church. Anyway, thats their own. The day I have energy I will go to that church, if not I go to another one. Shikena. I hate pretentiousness. |

About Me |

Name: lala
Home: Memphis, Tennessee, United States
About Me: I'm an introvert. I love challenges and the "path less taken". I have discovered that life more of a journey than a destination so I try to enjoy each day. And if you've never failed at anything then you haven't tried anything outside your comfort zone. Right now, I have a love/hate relationship with Memphis. I love the city because the people are very friendly but careerwise, this place will be a dead end for me.
